Founder Bio

Centripetal Software was founded in 2009 by Mike Davis in response to his own need to retrieve data from online applications and migrate it to competing services. Mike is a veteran of the software industry with 15 years of experience designing and developing software systems. He has founded two other startups and has worked for numerous technology companies ranging from the small development shop to industry titans. Most recently he was a senior technical program manager at Microsoft where he worked on such diverse products as .Net languages and compilers, enterprise modelling tools, and an online advertising exchange. Prior to Microsoft, Mr. Davis was an architect and senior developer at Sun Microsystems in the Connected Network Systems division and was also an architect in the Sun Java Center consulting practice.
