How To: Setup Dropbox for Centripetal Retrieve™

Overview

In order to use Dropbox with Centripetal Software you need to first install it and create an account. Follow the instructions at http://www.dropbox.com to install the Dropbox client and setup your account.

Instructions

You need to have enough storage space on your Dropbox account to store all of your Basecamp files. Follow these simple steps to check:

Login in to your Dropbox account at http://www.dropbox.com
Scroll to the bottom and look on the left hand side for the "In Use" indicator. Mouse over this and determine how much space you have available.
Login to your Basecamp account. Go to the Files tab on any one of your projects.
Look on the right hand side of files page for the "File Storage Space" indicator.
Ensure that the amount of File Storage Space on your Basecamp account is not greater than the amount available in your Dropbox account. If it is you will need to increase the amount of storage you have in Dropbox by upgrading your Dropbox account.

Gather Information

You'll need some basic information about your Dropbox account in order to setup delivery of your data anad files in Centripetal Retrieve™

  1. Your Dropbox username (Typically Your Email)
  2. Your Dropbox password
